Shrenik Bhayani has left Kaspersky.
Shrenik was appointed General Manager for South Asia for security giant Kaspersky in October 2017.
His last day at Kaspersky was on July 31, 2019.
Based out of Mumbai, he was responsible for spearheading Kaspersky business in South Asia region including India.
Shrenik also helped build the Kaspersky brand in B2B and B2C market segments during his stint.
Prior to joining Kaspersky, Shrenik was the country manager for Unify.
Kaspersky confirmed Shrenik’s exit exclusively to IDG India.
“As of now we can confirm that Shrenik has left his role as General Manager, South Asia, at Kaspersky on 31 July, 2019,” said Jesmond Chang, Head of Corporate Communications, Kaspersky Asia Pacific.
However, Kaspersky did not comment on his early exit within two years of joining the company.
Chang added, “We will be making an announcement about the new General Manager, details of Shrenik’s departure as well as the future of the business.”
At Kaspersky, Shrenik was instrumental in transforming the organization from an underdeveloped satellite sales team to a high-performing business unit that ramps revenue, market share and profitability.
With an industry experience of nearly two decades, he has worked at Unify, Avaya, Orange Business Series, GTL in senior management roles across sales, business development and leadership.
Shrenik had a four-year stint in senior roles for channels sales and sales Head for mid-market at Avaya from 2010 to 2015. Before Avaya, he was practice lead for Unified Communications and Contact Center Solutions at Orange Business Services.
An engineering graduate from Mumbai University, Shrenik started his career in 2000 with a seven-year stint at GTL.
